Latest Regulations for Visiting Besakih Temple in 2026

Besakih Temple, as the largest and holiest temple in Bali, has just undergone a major revitalization to improve tourist comfort. Here are the latest regulations effective from 2026.

Use of Sarong (Kamen)

Every visitor must use a neat kamen and shawl. If you don't bring one, rentals are available at the entrance area or usually included in the tour package you bought.

New Parking Building Facilities

A very spacious multi-story parking building is now available. Tourists will be transported using electric shuttle buses from the parking area to the temple area at no additional cost.

Ensure you book a daily Bali tour package that includes a local guide to get deep historical explanations about the grandeur of Besakih Temple.
